This hands-on activation offers a sophisticated deep dive into the creative artistry and cultural heritage of New Orleans Carnival.

• Cultural Immersion & Education: Our expert artists share deep knowledge of Mardi Gras traditions, providing a meaningful understanding of the unique culture and the significance of the masquerade in New Orleans.

• Precision Artistry & Creative Collaboration: Participants engage in the "creative empowARTment" of wearable art. We guide your group through the process of designing professional-grade masks using premium materials, to create a souvenir you are proud to take home.

• Mission-Driven Impact: SWIETstuff is a local NOLA social enterprise dedicated to community empowerment and job creation within the arts. Working with us adds a layer of social responsibility to your fun!

Four Seasons - YPO: Young Presidents' Organization

• April 18th, 4:30 - 6:00pm (during French Quarter Festival)

• 30 person private mask making experience in the Presidential Suite

• followed by a private parade to Mardi Gras World for the entire 150 person group with additional commissioned SWIETstuff masks, parasols, and Mardi Gras beads

• Friday October 10th, 8am-6pm, one day event

• 225 person mask workshop

• one large table for mask demonstration + feather station

• Two 6-foot crafting tables (crafters were seated)

• One large room separated with a velvet rope to maintain flow of guests from the demo table → crafting table → photo booth

• Mardi Gras masks are one-of-a-kind creations, PERFECT for photo booth + photos

JW Marriott - Emburse Sales Kickoff Event    

• February 4th and 5th, 8am-2pm (during Mardi Gras), two day event

• 220 person mask workshop

• one large table for demo + feather station

• four hightop crafting tables (crafters were standing)

• crafters came in rounds between sessions and during breaks.

• Two SWIETstuff staff facilitated the workshop (one at the demo/instruction table, and one floating around the high top tables to support crafters and keep spaces clean)

• Target time for entire Mask making experience: 15 minutes/person
